The origins of the Salvagno Farm date back to the early nineteenth century.
In the beginning it was a piece of land in a hilly area in the Lessinia area and a few farmyard animals: chickens, rabbits, some goats, a piglet and the spotted cow "Stella". With the passing of time my family began to use their products to offer the local people snacks: "pan e salame" - bread with salami sausage, "grosta de formajo" – cheese rinds, "polenta brustolà con lardo" – grilled polenta with lard, always served together with homemade wine, the grapes of which were trod barefoot.
Over the years the farm began to grow until it even had to move part of its production to the Morainic hills in the Sommacampagna area, so

as to offer the public a new kind of farm restaurant, with a fixed menu that rotates on a weekly basis. We offer an appetizer followed by an excellent “gnocco fritto” – crisp squares of fried dough, two starters, and a main course of grilled meats served with our own cooked, raw and grilled vegetables, all followed by a delicious homemade dessert and an excellent Arabic coffee directly from Brazil for you.
Naturally all our dishes are accompanied by good red and white wines from our hills and coffee is served with our own grappa.
During this gourmet experience you will be surrounded by an area that was the site of many battles and unforgettable sacrifices, but which is now the theatre of relaxing and joyful convivial moments prepared by our chef.
We will be very glad to welcome you from Thursday to Sunday for an experience that is bound to satisfy you.
